hmmm...so much on my mind of late. thailand is over a month away, but april 21st seems to be inching its way up to me! can't wait to get that $7 1/hr massage! and that price better be including the sex! j/k. its funny, a massage is $7, a 1 night stay at a beach bungalow on the ocean for 3 people, including breakfast is $21, but a beer is still $5! crazy! anyway, started playing bass last week. good stuff. i mean, i suck, but atleast i know the notes!
all of my mason jennings goodies were on my doorstep lastnight as i came back from jamming. 3 cds and a t-shirt! all thanks to toby and nikki for entering me into the whimsical jennings world. so noah and i officially have 4 songs! its hard jamming with a drummer. i've never really done it before. its super rad, though, bcuz my songs are totally different, but still the same. we're playing a st. patty's day party at noah's. super duper!! billy d is coming to visit la in 2 weeks...very exciting! the girl formerly known as vangirl is gonna be putting the van back in the girl soon...but more on that later!
chow!
dude! tania is so hot. she lives in south dakota, so over the past few years we've lost contact, reunited, and then changed phone numbers and email addresses...but we've connected again! i haven't even seen her since 2000. that's 5 years- crazy! i am very confident in saying she is one of the keenest people i have ever met. so now i'm trying to get her to visit me in la, or maybe i'll go to south dakota. but what's even in south dakota? i don't even know where the hell south dakota is on the map! its somewhere inbetween california and illinois. so, does south dakota have mt. rushmore? that'd be cool to see. honestly, it would be cool to visit south dakota; i'm sure it blows mchenry county out of the cornfield!
lets take a vote on 'where tania and liana should reunite.'
should tania visit los angeles, where she's never been?
or should liana visit south dakota, where she's never been?
its official! verizon is god! and little liana has been smugged by the rest of the cryns family because she mistakenly uses at&t's crappy services for her celluar phone plan. i cannot believe it, though. everyone has verizon in my family except for me. so tra.la.la...you can all hoot and holler all day long to eachother for free, but only for a second with me cuz i'm not 'in.' haha. anyway, i did 2 days of hard labor singing this weekend for jingles. its draining. i've also picked up my guitar and wrote a few songs this week so i plan to record them on my 8 track and depending on the sound quality, maybe you'll get to hear them! and toby, update your damn blog, beyatch!!
tra la la! hooray! or as toby would say, 'huzzah!' southern california is back to normal routine of driving like assholes and turning the cheek at all wrong doings due to the beautiful sunshine! let's here it again...huzzah! jenny d was right...i really think the rain was starting to make me mad looney! i feel so la-ti-da as i finally took my first jog yesterday morning since january 1st! i also started my new job last night. i was supposed to train for 2 nights, but after experiencing my bow-hunting skills, they set me lose and gave me the green light to start making the cash! woo hoo! school doesn't start until february 7th...and i think i'm gonna get my associates! but i'll keep ya posted!
alright...
there are so many people in need of help down the street, and on the coast of california right now due to flooding, terrible mudslides, and the normally empty- now evil- l.a. river. last night i saw a 200 foot mudslide on the news as it was happening. the slide demolished a handful of houses and the death count is 3 people so far, but there are still quite a few people unaccounted for, as rescuers still search through the rubble and mud for more victims. by the river, there was a helpless man who watched his house fall into the river, as the soil undeneath the house had been chipping away all day. also, flooding has done much more than damage so many houses as people are being evacuated from community after community.
now, i am all for the red cross efforts in the tsunami horror. i just feel like american society leeches onto these 'hip' charity cases and all the sudden you're a piece of shit if you haven't donated $1 at the check out line in the grocery store. there are so many problems and tragedies in america that need charity and relief, what the hell makes asia so popular? i know that probably sounds horrible and cold, but, c'mon! maybe the deathtoll from the west coast weather hasn't been super high, but people and families here, in america are losing their homes and lives as we speak, and everybody seems to be shrugging their shoulders.
what do you think?
man, this west coast rain is really starting to piss me off. its been raining since friday. its now monday. literally raining 24 hours a day. and la doesn't have any drain system on the roads. its really fAcked up! so, i've been debating weather or not to buy an umbrella. i need one to get out of the house formerly known as 'camp spank,' but i fear by the time i fork over the $10 to buy an umbrella, there will only be a day of rain left...and in la it only rains once a year. so, do you see my dilemma? that's it...let's take a vote!!
SHOULD I OR SHOULDN'T I purchase an umbrella???
***just remember, you must factor in the fact that i will probably lose the umbrella over the next year before i would get to use it again and get my money's worth! bastard rain!
